- Any patient diagnosed with uveitis
- Any patient diagnosed with infectious uveitis such as toxoplasmosis retinochoroiditis or herpes-associated retinitis
- Age 6 years or older

- Patients unable to give consent
- Patients from whom an adequate blood sample cannot be obtained
- Patients younger than 6 years old (implied by minimum age requirement if relevant to exclude explicitly)
