This research aims to evaluate how effective an online program is at improving diet and self-care for people with multiple sclerosis (MS), clinically isolated syndrome (CIS), fibromyalgia, long-term effects of COVID-19, and cancer survivors with ongoing fatigue. It focuses on delivering dietary education and support to a larger and more diverse group, including those with limited access to specialized dietitians. The study uses a randomized single-blind waitlist control design to compare health outcomes over short-term (3 months) and long-term (6 months) periods. Participants will be randomly assigned to either start the online course immediately or after a delay. The course includes modules on diet plans such as the modified Paleolithic, nutrient-dense vegetarian, and Mediterranean diets, as well as strategies for stress reduction, exercise, and improving resilience. Alongside the course, participants will access seven weekly group support videos. The program is entirely virtual, allowing participants to complete exercises, personal assessments, and course materials online. During the study, participants will complete baseline assessments and follow-up virtual visits at months 0, 3, and 6. They will fill out online questionnaires measuring fatigue and quality of life, and complete dietary assessments using a web-based tool. Researchers will track changes in mental and physical health quality of life scores and fatigue levels using validated scales. The study lasts six months in total and includes ongoing monitoring through online tools and group support.
