Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Aged 13-40 years
- Have permanent teeth including first molars
- Willing to undergo orthodontic treatment and follow instructions
You will not qualify if you...
- Have systemic illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, or hepatitis
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Use tobacco products
- Have a history of allergies to mouthwash or toothpaste
- Have used mouthwash in the past 3 months
- Have abnormal oral structure or habits that affect mouth function
