Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Persistent depressive disorder as defined by DSM-5, including ICD-10 diagnoses of depression, dysthymia, or recurrent depression
  • Previous unsuccessful depression treatments
  • Living within driving distance of the treatment facilities
  • Age between 18 and 70 years
  • Liberal inclusion criteria similar to clinical practice at the treatment site
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Current suicidal risk
  • Current psychosis
  • Marked emotional instability such as impulsivity
  • Strong paranoid traits
  • Current heavy substance abuse problems
