Clinical Evaluation of the Modified VISTA Technique Using Albumin-platelet Rich Fibrin Versus Connective Tissue Graft in Treating Multiple Miller Class III RT2 Gingival Recessions

Researchers are investigating treatments for gingival recession, specifically Miller class III / RT2 type, which is an important aspect of periodontitis care. This clinical trial evaluates the modified VISTA technique using two different materials: Albumin-platelet Rich Fibrin (Alb-PRF) and connective tissue graft (CTG). The study aims to compare their effectiveness in covering exposed roots and improving gum health. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. One group receives treatment with the modified VISTA technique combined with connective tissue graft, while the other group receives the same technique paired with Alb-PRF. Both treatments focus on regenerative properties to address gum recession. The study is double-blinded and includes patients aged 18 to 60 years. During the trial, researchers will monitor participants over six months, assessing outcomes such as mean root coverage, percentage of root coverage, recession depth and width, keratinized tissue width, and clinical attachment level. Participants will undergo clinical evaluations to measure these outcomes, helping determine which treatment provides better root coverage and gum tissue improvement.
