What this Trial Is About
This research aims to understand how patients with gynecologic diseases, specifically those attending a gynecologic oncology clinic, get medical information about cancer care and their satisfaction with these methods. It also evaluates patient interest in using an artificial intelligence AI chatbot as an educational resource for HPV vaccine counseling. The study is observational and includes evaluating patient satisfaction and HPV vaccination rates. Participants will complete surveys to provide feedback on their experience with an AI chatbot designed to counsel patients about the HPV vaccine. The study focuses on patients who have received or are eligible for the HPV vaccine, mainly those aged 18 years or older attending the LA General gynecologic oncology clinic. The chatbots impact on HPV vaccination rates among new patients is also assessed. During the study, participants will provide demographic information and feedback on their use of the AI chatbot, as well as their health-seeking behaviors. Researchers will measure patient satisfaction scores and HPV vaccination rates up to one year. The study does not involve interventional treatments but focuses on observing and understanding patient experiences and vaccination uptake over time.
