Adequate pain management is an important part of care in pediatric emergency departments. This research aims to collect information about complication rates related to ultrasound-guided regional analgesia, a technique used to manage pain in children without relying on opioids or sedation. This approach has been routinely used at the pediatric emergency department at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center since about two years ago, with nearly 300 procedures performed so far. The study focuses on children who received regional analgesia during their visits to the pediatric emergency department between 2023 and 2025. This technique involves ultrasound-guided nerve blocks performed by emergency department physicians as a pain management method. The study will gather data from this routine use in the emergency setting, without introducing new treatments or interventions. Participants will be children up to 18 years old who had a nerve block during their emergency visit. Researchers will collect and review data from these cases to track any complications over two years. The main outcome measured is any complication related to the regional analgesia procedure. The study will observe routine care practices without additional procedures or visits, focusing on safety and outcomes during standard emergency department treatment.
