Analysis of NeuroStar TMS Device Use in Treating Depression and Anxiety Disorders Using Real-World Data

Researchers are evaluating real-world data to better understand how patient characteristics, symptoms, and treatment parameters affect clinical outcomes with the NeuroStar Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation TMS device. This observational study focuses on patients with depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anxiety depression who have been treated with NeuroStar Advanced TMS Therapy System. The study aims to analyze changes in clinical assessment scores over an 8-week treatment period. The study involves patients who have received treatment with the NeuroStar Advanced TMS Therapy System, a non-invasive brain stimulation device. Data from treatments starting November 1, 2008, onwards will be reviewed retrospectively to explore how factors like age at baseline relate to changes in clinical scores after treatment. The study does not involve new interventions but evaluates existing medical records and treatment outcomes. Participants involvement includes the collection and analysis of their treatment and clinical outcome data over an 8-week period post-treatment. Researchers will assess changes in clinical assessment scores from baseline to post-treatment and correlate these with age and other factors. The study will continue until December 2035, with no direct procedures or interventions required from participants during the study period.
