Researchers are studying how different types of snacks affect feelings of fullness (satiety), blood sugar (glucose), insulin levels, antioxidant capacity, and anxiety in healthy adults aged 18 to 55 years. The study aims to understand how snack choices influence these responses after eating. Participants are randomly assigned to consume one of several snack types, including pretzels, Brazil nuts, potato chips, mixed nuts, white bread, dried mango, or fresh mango. Each snack is tested to observe the body's responses shortly after eating. During the study, researchers measure changes in satiety, glucose, insulin, anxiety, and antioxidant levels at various times up to two hours after snack consumption. These measurements help assess the immediate impact of each snack type on the participants’ metabolism and feelings. The study allows healthy volunteers to participate and monitors their responses carefully.
